About This Course

About Level 2 Door Supervisor Course: 

This course is ideal for anyone wishing to get a SIA Door Supervisor Licence & work in the security industry as a door supervisor or security guard. The course is based on up to date SIA specification for learning and qualifications and is supported by Skills for Security, this is the standards setting body for the security industry and the SIA, which regulates the private security industry.

Obtaining the Level 2 Door Supervisor qualification will allow you to apply for a SIA Door Supervisor Licence. With a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, you are permitted to work in a wide variety of environments. From Static Sites, Retail to working the doors in Bars / Night Clubs.

Security professionals who have a door supervisor licence can also carry out other activities, for example work as security guards, keyholders & Events.

About Emergency First Aid at Work Course: 

The Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course is a top choice in the UK for workplace First Aid. Finishing this course means you're trained to handle First Aid in low-risk job settings, meeting the 1981 Health and Safety regulations. It's not just for workplaces, though. If you want essential First Aid skills, this course is ideal, whether you're a beginner or experienced.

  • Use of AED ( Defibrillator)

This course is now a mandatory requirement for anyone who wishes to do a SIA Security Course.

Eligibility: 18 + years, valid Emergency first Aid Certificate - Mandatory Requirement for SIA Licence & English to a Level 1 standard.

Assessment: 4 multiple choice question examinations

Exam Resits: 3 FREE Exam Resits for all students

Applying For a SIA Licence: Having a criminal record doesn't always stop you from getting an SIA (Security Industry Authority) license. They look at each case individually, considering the type and seriousness of the offense, how long ago it happened, and whether you've shown any evidence of rehabilitation. You can use the SIA Criminal Record Indicator to see whether you will pass the criminality checks.

SIA Licence valid for: 3 years

How much you can earn? £10 – £15+ per hour

Additional Costs:

SIA Licence Fee: £184 however if you already hold a licence the cost for your second licence is half price (£92).

Duration: 6 Hours

Eligibility:  14+

Assessment: Practical assessment & 1 multiple choice theoretical assessment

Accreditation: Ofqual Regulated Level 3 Award 

Refunds: We provide a full refund if you cancel the course within 24 Hours of Booking the course.

Resits: We offer 3 FREE Exam Retakes for all our students. 

Entry Requirements:

Learners must be aged at least 18 or over.

Learners must be able to communicate in English (oral and written) to a Level 1 standard.

Learners must provide 1 x suitable photographic ID & 2 x Proof of address prior to the exam.

It is an SIA requirement that training centres must confirm that each learner is sufficiently qualified in First Aid or Emergency First Aid. Therefore, all candidates will need to show that they hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

This package includes the Emergency First Aid at Work course, you will need to complete this before you can start the SIA Security Door Supervisor Course.

Required Self Study:

This course includes a self study module, in your Welcome Pack you will receive information on how to access resources and assessments.


You will need a laptop to complete the self study module.​
If you do not have access to a laptop please get in touch and let us know and we can book you in to a drop in session where you will be provided a laptop and working area for you to complete your self study. 

Also please ensure you complete ACT online training (this is a mandatory requirement) and present your certificates on the day, more information on how to access ACT training will be provided in your welcome pack.
